ECS School Visit
On April 18, 2011, the students of Eastern Consolidated School visited Shalebrook Acres. After a short talk about the farm and how they should act around the animals they undertook their tour. Highlights included finding eggs in the hen nests, milking our Alpine goat, Willow and finding out that not all food comes from grocery stores. They had lots of questions and took away a lot of information about life on the farm. Each student left with a brochure showing pictures and information about each of the animals.
